Kenya Moore lived in Atlanta while her restaurateur husband, who tries to avoid the limelight, was in New York but they never declared the reason for going to the Caribbeanfor IVF.

Barbados fertility centre claims that it offers affordable pricing, high IVF success rates and is also internationally accredited.

After eloping to St. Lucia to marry Daly, Kenya revealed that her was having a difficult time dealing with her fame.

Probably that's the reason they decided to get IVF overseas - to avoid the media and paparazzi.

Kenya Moore conceived with IVF and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Brooklyn Doris in 2018. The couple is now divorced. They share joint legal custody of their daughter.

From what I read at the time, Barbados was one of the few places offering very advanced IVF treatment with more privacy and flexibility, especially for women in their mid-40s. Kenya Moore was around 46 then, so she likely wanted a clinic experienced with older IVF patients and donor-related options.

The Barbados Fertility Centre had already built an international reputation and attracted a lot of medical tourism patients.

Honestly, a lot of celebrities go abroad for fertility treatment for the same reasons regular people do: privacy, less judgment, access to different protocols, and sometimes better overall care coordination. Barbados also seems less chaotic and stressful than doing something this personal in LA or Atlanta while paparazzi follow you around.

I remember a friend saying fertility travel can actually make the process emotionally easier because you feel “removed” from daily pressure for a while. I could see that being part of it too.
